Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from ATELIER AURA™, operated by 8THPATH LLC, 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, STE A, Albuquerque NM 87113, United States.

This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through our online store for customers located in Australia and New Zealand, and, where applicable, in other destinations.

2. Return Period

We offer a 14-day return period from the date you receive your order.

After this period, we may no longer be able to offer a refund or exchange for change-of-mind returns. However, this does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws, including where a product is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees.

3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be new / unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging.

A receipt or proof of purchase must be provided.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions, except where a refund, replacement, repair, or other remedy is required by law.

4. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons:

Gift cards or digital vouchers

Downloadable software or digital products

Perishable goods, such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines

Intimate or sanitary products

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Personal care products that cannot be resold for hygiene reasons

This does not limit your rights under applicable consumer laws if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet consumer guarantees.

5. Partial Refunds, Where Applicable

Partial refunds may be granted for:

Books or printed materials showing obvious signs of use

Opened software, media, or electronic storage devices

Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Items returned more than 14 days after delivery

6. Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

If approved, your refund will automatically be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days:

Check your bank account or card statement again.

Contact your card issuer, as processing delays may occur.

Contact your bank to confirm whether a pending refund is being processed.

8. Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for change-of-mind refunds.

Sale, clearance, or promotional items cannot be refunded for change-of-mind reasons unless required by law.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not meet applicable consumer guarantees.

9. Exchanges

We replace items if they are defective or damaged.

If you would like to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at info@maisonatelieraura.com to receive instructions before returning the product.

10. Gifts

If an item was purchased and shipped directly to you as a gift, you will receive store credit for the value of the return once it has been received and approved.

If the order was first sent to the person who gave the gift, the refund will be issued directly to them.

11. Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Initial shipping costs are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.

If the return is due to a faulty, damaged, incorrect, or non-compliant product, we will handle the return in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and shipping insurance for items valued over AUD/NZD $75, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returns without tracking.

12. Rights of Customers in Australia and New Zealand

This policy does not affect your legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

For customers in Australia, your purchase may be protected by the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that may entitle you to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy where a product fails to meet required standards.

For customers in New Zealand, your purchase may be protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act, which provides guarantees around product quality, safety, usability, and remedies where those guarantees are not met.
